No. Under the new health reform, insurers can no longer deny coverage to children because of a pre-existing condition, like asthma or diabetes. Health insurers will no longer be able to charge more or deny coverage to anyone because of a pre-existing condition.
WHERE CAN I FIND AN “EMPLOYER COVERAGE TOOL” FORM?
You can probably get an “Employer Coverage Tool” form by visiting your job’s Human Resources Department or by contacting the person in charge of health insurance plans in your place of work.
WHERE DOES THE FUNDING GO IN THE COMMUNITIES?
